Courses in Legal, Banking and Financial English

Tailor-made English courses: Legal English, Banking and Financial English, designed to meet the sector-specific needs of professionals.

General English courses

The main aim of these courses is to develop general knowledge of the language, by training and developing the four basic language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Business English courses and Modules for specific purposes

English courses based on the development of the four basic language skills in specific professional contexts. In this respect, the vocabulary, communicative functions will mirror students’ work requirements (business people, managers, entrepreneurs etc). In addition, short-term-Modules for specific purposes are designed in order to meet specific needs such as e-mailing, telephoning, networking, meetings and presentations.

CLIL Conversation courses in English with films in original language

This type of course is suited for B2 students (upper intermediate level). This conversation theme-based course is aimed at students who wish to develop their language skills such as oral fluency, listening, reading and vocabulary, as well as expand their knowledge of cultural topics and topical issues. Every lesson includes a video clip or film in original language which delves into the main topic. The range of topics spans from art to history, from psychology to drama and literature, from philosophy to positive thinking, from health to nature and travel etc.

Preparation for Cambridge KEY, PET, FCE and IELTS exams

In order to prepare for Cambridge and IELTS exams, these courses are based on continuous assessment. Therefore the student is tested throughout the course. In the first part of the course the student acquires the necessary examination skills, later the student’s improvement is assessed in progress through constant exam tests and feedback.
