My career as an English teacher began in 1998. Since then, I have worked with various private schools both in Reggio Emilia and abroad (Brighton and Madrid), gaining solid experience over the years in teaching General English, Business English, and English for Specific Purposes.
In particular, I have acquired extensive experience over many years teaching Business English courses delivered at leading companies in Reggio Emilia, Parma, and the surrounding areas.
I am a Cambridge examiner per gli esami KEY, PET, FCE e CAE e mi occupo anche della preparazione degli studenti agli esami stessi.
I obtained the CELTA  (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), awarded by the University of Cambridge, as well as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.
Since 2012, I have been organizing CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) English courses. These are themed conversation classes—modules on cultural and current events with a communicative focus—delivered through the use of video clips and films in their original language.
This year I trained public school teachers in Parma, preparing them for the Cambridge TKT CLIL certification, which they successfully passed.
In the past, I also attended a training seminar on teaching Legal English, organized by the British Institute in Turin, and I gained practical experience by teaching Legal English at law firms.
I hold a Diploma in Interpreting and Translation awarded by the former School of Interpreters and Translators of Reggio Emilia.
I also obtained the DITALS Level II (Advanced Certificate in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language) from the University for Foreigners of Siena.
In 2018, I gained teaching experience as an English lecturer at the Faculties of Economics and Engineering at Unimore – University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Modena campus).
